"My Son David has been with Japan International  since the age of six. He is now 11 years old and has reached one of his main goals- to be a Black Belt. Now he is a junior  assistant at the Dojo. If it weren't for the instructors at Japan International, he would not be the person he is now. " Enrolling our daughter in karate at JIKA
 turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made.  Finding an extracurricular activity for her was not easy.  She has always been extremely shy and anxious and competitive team sports were just not for her.  Since beginning karate, improvement in coordination and balance have been exciting to see.  The increase in her self-confidence, however, was much more than we expected.  Participating in a program that allows kids and adults of all ages and capabilities to train and advance at their own individual pace has had a very positive impact on our daughter.  We are excited that she is a part of this program and as it continues to grow and improve, hopefully she will do the same with her karate training!"
